Rabasa

for Albert Adami

Simeó Rabasa founded the bicycle brand Rabasa in 1922 in Mollet de Vallès (Barcelona). It was, during the next 70 years, one of the most emblematic cycle brands of Spain. Unfortunately, a strong global commercial competition forced the firm to stop producing during some years, until Albert Adami, grandson of Rabasa, relaunched the brand, taking advantage of the fixie and vintage trend. A new cycle started, updating the bikes but keeping the lifelong values and appearance. Menage and Cal42 worked together to redesign the brand, renewing the emblem, creating a new atypical packaging, and designing a new identity that communicates legacy and tradition, a resumed history for this bicycles.
